Aortic Valve Pathology

The aortic valve connects the left ventricle to the aorta and systemic circulation. It is normally tricuspid with three leaflets but in 1% of the population is congenitally bicuspid.

Case #1. Aortic valve calcifications.

Case #2. Severe aortic valve calcifications.

Case #3. Enhancing cauliflower-shaped outpouching of aortic root: a perivalvular pseudoaneurysm in patient with history of endocarditis.
